Ses mots, on a rainy day.

When I was just a  petite fille,   Of only single digit, A friend of mine, to me, had said, Words dipped in magic, on a rainy day.  You listen first to the sound, Of the roar of the rain as it comes,  And then you see, the falling drops,  Beyond the trees, then over you.  Those words, in me, lit a wonder, Though simple and silly as they may be. A vivid image of that time,  Still flashes by till this day.  Of a petite fille , listening in eager, To the roar of the approaching rain,  Smiling at the person, whose words, Had just made her day. As the rain began to touch her skin,  She turned and skipped back home. She left behind the gentil garçon ,  But not the magic of ses mots. French words:  Petite fille- Little girl Gentil garçon- sweet boy Ses mots- His words

Child Beauty Pageants

I ask- will all this not come with age? Is it necessary to rob kids of their childhood?  Are they not missing out on the most important stage of their development by being subjected to rigorous hours of voice, dance and other grooming/ training sessions?  Some parents start these sessions from as young as nine months! These gruelling hours deprive the child of play, sleep and not forgetting the tiring toll it tak...

Did he see the cat sitting on my lap? I dread having to put my camera on...cause there’s a cat on my lap, one at my head, and one waiting to paw-kick the phone out of my grasp! Occasionally you’ll hear catcalls in the background...hell..no!! That's’ not Roadside Romeo, but Tommy Tomlinson, the parrot! His whistles will make anyone blush!! It’s difficult to get my dog to stay low, she thinks I’ve gone loco, talking solo. Says she, “What the freak is wrong with you girl?!! You talking to the spirits in your head? Got to hold an exorcism for you!” Enough of that...let's talk about the  Experience of the online debate for ISA 1-  Well, the preparation was a bit crazy- I was all set with my matter but had to change it at the 15th hour to conform to the debate format…Whethe...
