Its three AM, they're gasping for breath,

If they can hold out,

It won't be their last time yet.

You're lucky to keep you're hearing,

In the haunted spaces filled with shrill calls of machines.

They close down food, they've failed at stability,

You could be starving,

And they wouldn't give a damn.

Authorities, covering up what they've damned.

Who is at fault? who else is to blame?

Send us into frenzies,

Intimidate us with cave-man clubs,

To accomplish your own gains,

And to us mere mortals,

Living each day as it comes,

It's hard to keep our sanity,

When deaths, decisions, insecurity,

A dancing plague in our heads.

No, I don't want to be history.

But everyday it's so hard to breathe.

I don't want my life snuffed out of me,

I have so much to live for,

And yes, I know they did too.
