Dreamcatcher

Her house, lone secluded structure,
Surrounded by hoards of prickly bush,
A single rose in bloom.

Voices, chants, shrill and low,
Do this, do that, or you have to go.
A pensive loner among bodies so cold.

A dreamcatcher hanging on her door,
Protect her, guide her,
Life's journey to Mount Doom,
Her dreams, flutter past her eyes.

Breakaway, oh let her!
Her soul too pure for this crazy breed.
Let her night turn to day,
Her spirit soar away.
